Warehouse Operations Specialist

The Warehouse Operator is a key position based at our NSW site. Reporting to the Store Manager, you will join the Gyprock Trade Centre and deliver exceptional customer service while attaining operational excellence within the warehouse.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing exceptional customer service for all customers
  • Assisting in day-to-day activities within the store
  • Stock movements and maintenance of stock
  • Loading trucks with customer orders for distribution and complying with safety requirements
  • Unloading inbound orders of stock
  • Serving customers in the warehouse part of the store, loading customers' vehicles with a forklift or manually as required
  • Ensuring documentation, labelling and presentation of product is adhered to
  • Warehouse operations including picking orders, inventory counts and general housekeeping

You will be working Monday to Friday between 6am-3pm, with every second Saturday from 7am-11am paid as overtime.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current forklift license with sufficient experience
  • Ability to lift and move heavy products as required (manual handling involved)
  • A positive attitude and team-oriented mindset in a fast-paced environment
  • A strong work ethic and commitment to safety procedures
  • Strong communication skills and listening skills, with the ability to build relationships
