Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced defence recruitment specialist to join our team. This role involves assisting our RPO client with their technical defence recruitment, utilizing strategic advantage and knowledge to uncover and nurture the best defence talent in the market.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality recruitment results, sourcing and qualifying defence candidates, running accurate and comprehensive job briefs, screening and interviewing candidates, assessing work rights and clearances, arranging interviews with clients, salary information, reference checking, negotiating salaries, and managing the expectations of candidates and clients.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with defence industry stakeholders and clients
  • Source and recruit defence candidates through various channels, including databases, job boards, social media networks, and referrals
  • Assess and evaluate defence candidates' skills, experience, and qualifications
  • Present shortlisted candidates to clients and negotiate terms and conditions of employment
  • Provide exceptional customer service to both defence industry stakeholders and clients

Requirements
  • 5+ years local experience in defence recruitment
  • Australian Citizenship is a must; baseline security clearance (or ability to obtain one)
  • Ability to meet KPIs set by manager
  • Strong relationship building and communication skills
  • Solid organisational skills
  • Drive and hunger to succeed in niche defence roles
  • Excellent computer skills in MS Office and ability to learn new systems quickly
