Co-Curricular Programs Coordinator Position

The University of Sydney seeks a highly motivated and experienced professional to enhance student experience for students living on campus.

This role will play a key part in supporting the design and delivery of engaging co-curricular programs for students in University accommodation. Working closely with teams across the Student Life Cluster and stakeholders in residential settings, you will collaborate with colleagues to ensure programs are inclusive, relevant and impactful.

The successful candidate will have experience in co-curricular program delivery, wellbeing promotion or student support services. They will be able to coordinate co-curricular programs tailored for students in accommodation and aligned with University-wide student engagement strategies.

You will also be required to develop communications and content to promote programs through digital platforms and social media, as well as liaise with internal and external stakeholders to support program delivery and engagement.

The ideal candidate will possess strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills, and will be confident in their ability to handle sensitive student issues with discretion, empathy and sound judgment.

  • Experience in co-curricular program delivery, wellbeing promotion or student support services

  • Valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) or ability to obtain one
Responsibilities
  • Work in a collaborative and cohesive team environment reporting to the Senior Residential Life Coordinator
  • Coordinate co-curricular programs tailored for students in accommodation and aligned with University-wide student engagement strategies
  • Develop communications and content to promote programs through digital platforms and social media
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to support program delivery and engagement
  • Support triage and referral processes in partnership with the Safety and Wellbeing team
  • Deliver training, events and student-facing sessions
  • Analyse and report on program outcomes and student engagement insights
