About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery of key portfolio priorities as part of a dynamic team. As a skilled support specialist, you will play a pivotal role in providing high-level administrative and operational assistance to the National Manager Population Health & Wellbeing.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with the team to develop, implement, and monitor strategic and operational initiatives, projects, and organisational priorities.
  • Building and managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Crafting and refining various communications (emails, reports, submissions, presentations) aligned with Heart Foundation policies and strategy.
  • Supporting the coordination and preparation of internal/external meetings, representing the organisation when necessary.
  • Contributing to the development of Heart Foundation policy and advocacy from both a national and local perspective.
  • Assisting in planning and executing events, including preparing presentations and speeches or managing event logistics.
  • Supporting operational and administrative functions within the Northern Territory office.
  • Monitoring and tracking budget expenditures for the Population Health & Wellbeing portfolio, ensuring accountability through regular updates and reports.
  • Fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation, mentoring teams and supporting cross-functional initiatives.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to foster collaboration across all organisational levels.
  • A background in fields such as public health, social services, business management, advocacy, or public relations.
  • Proven skills in administration, project management, and time management.
