About the Role
  • Culturally Safe Primary Healthcare
  • Delivering primary healthcare aligned with the BRAMS Model of Care
  • Independent patient assessments, diagnoses, and clinical decision-making
  • Prescribing medications under the Kimberley Standard Drug List and authorised SASAs
  • Ordering, performing, and interpreting diagnostic investigations
  • Managing recalls, reminders, and follow-up care processes
  • Cross-department collaboration and multidisciplinary team management
  • Clinical governance and safeguarding practices for children and young people

As our ideal candidate, you are an experienced Nurse Practitioner who is proactive, compassionate, and committed to providing exceptional care to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

Key Requirements
  • AHPRA registration with endorsement as a Nurse Practitioner
  • Demonstrated experience in a primary healthcare setting
  • Experience working in Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services (desirable)
  • Clinical expertise in triage, treatment, and ongoing care management
  • Effective communication across multidisciplinary and cross-cultural teams
  • Cultural humility and a willingness to learn in an Aboriginal health context
  • Collaborative approach and adaptability in a diverse service environment
