Curtin University is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Coordinator to join our dynamic team at Perth Children's Hospital. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the groundbreaking Early Moves project, a double-blind, prospective cohort study aiming to recruit over 3,000 babies to determine if General Movements can serve as an early biomarker for babies at risk of cognitive delay.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and administer the project, including financial and grant management, project resourcing, and the coordination of assessment clinics.
- Develop and maintain program resources, including reports and documentation.
- Liaise with stakeholders to ensure program outcomes are meeting their requirements.
- Monitor and evaluate program performance and provide reports to the line manager.
- Monitor program budget and provide advice to the line manager.
- Provide leadership and guidance to staff, through effective talent management, career planning, performance reviews, and development.
- Write and prepare project reports and related documentation.
- Completion of a relevant degree with subsequent relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant work experience and/or education/training.
- Demonstrated organisational skills with the ability to coordinate and implement program activities.
- Demonstrated high level interpersonal and oral communication skills with the ability to consult and liaise effectively with a diverse range of people and with cross-cultural sensitivity.
- Demonstrated high level written communication skills with the ability to construct clear and concise reports and other relevant documentation.
- Proven ability to work well in a team, including respecting differences, leading, and supporting others, accepting direction, and working to group goals.
- Experience with project coordination or management in a health or research environment.
- Advanced computer skills, ideally including experience in database and data management.
