Senior Rehabilitation Specialist
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Rehabilitation Specialist to support individuals in their rehabilitation journey. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing holistic care and support to clients who have sustained a physical and/or psychological injury at work.
Key Responsibilities:
- To apply your clinical reasoning skills to support individuals in their rehabilitation journey
- To work within a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and support
- To perform assessments and develop personalized rehabilitation plans to help individuals return to work
- To collaborate with stakeholders, including clients and employers, medical specialists, and other healthcare professionals
- To develop and implement rehabilitation plans, taking into account the individual's needs and goals
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Current unrestricted registration or membership with the relevant industry body
- Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, or Rehabilitation Counselling
- Strong clinical reasoning skills
- Able to engage across multidisciplinary teams to support the achievement of a common goal
- Passion to help people rehabilitate
