We are seeking a dedicated individual to fill the role of Senior Practitioner in our organization.
The RoleThis is a critical position that requires an individual who can provide support and guidance to children and young people entering care for the first time.
Key Responsibilities- Assess the needs of children and young people and develop comprehensive care plans.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to children and young people during their time in care.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to assess, plan, and provide support to children and families.
- Develop and maintain accurate records and reports.
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Experience working with vulnerable populations and managing risk within the Best Interest Framework.
- Understanding of how trauma can affect the development of young people.
- Solid understanding of the Child Protection and Welfare system in Victoria.
- Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
