About The Role:The Senior Care Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of exceptional care to our residents. This includes supporting the Clinical Care Coordinator and Registered Nurse to oversee and coordinate care, guaranteeing that each resident's needs, wishes, and goals are met within a nurturing atmosphere that fosters dignity, respect, and individuality.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide holistic support to residents, encompassing their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
- Collaborate with colleagues to manage the care requirements of residents across the facility, including medication management, nutrition, hydration, and pressure care.
- Lead/supervise care on shifts, focusing on designated areas or wings.
- Execute medicine-related tasks in accordance with qualifications, state/territory legislation, regulations, and Calvary policies/procedures for delegation and supervision.
- Relevant qualifications:
- Diploma of Enrolled Nursing (with APRHA Registration to administer medication).
- Commitment to delivering high-quality care, demonstrated through strong integrity, honesty, and trustworthiness.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, enabling successful interactions at all levels.
- Ability to understand and utilize technology, as well as adapt to new programs and skills.
- Current National police check.
- Familiarity with WH&S and Infection Control principles.
- A genuine desire to join a mission-driven organization dedicated to the care and well-being of others.
