About the Opportunity

IMB Bank, a leading member-owned bank, is seeking an experienced Branch Manager to lead our flagship branch in the Illawarra region. This role offers a competitive salary and benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and motivate a team to achieve both branch and employee objectives
  • Manage residential lending and provide exceptional customer experience from application through to settlement
  • Foster community connections and build relationships with members and professionals
  • Sourcing new business opportunities and referrals arrangements
  • Leverage IMB's Financial Health Checks to offer tailored solutions for members' needs
  • Ensure day-to-day branch operations meet legal, risk, compliance, regulatory, and reporting requirements
About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A proven track record in banking and finance, preferably with experience in writing home loans and branch management
  • Effective leadership skills, including coaching, training, and implementing effective management techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a willingness to proactively source new business opportunities
  • The ability to manage branch operations in a highly regulated banking environment
