The Service Desk Team Lead role involves overseeing a team of technical support specialists to ensure efficient resolution of client issues and effective communication.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership: Supervise the service desk team, provide guidance, and mentorship to ensure high levels of morale and performance.
  • Ticket Allocation: Perform ticket allocation, oversight, and reviews to ensure timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
  • Technical Support: Provide hands-on technical support to clients as required, utilizing good troubleshooting skills and a strong understanding of IT systems.
Requirements:
  • Team Leadership Experience: At least one year in a management/team leader role with direct reporting staff in a call center or support environment.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Required for mentoring and training the team.
  • Service Desk Operations: Understanding how a service desk functions and the importance of customer service.
  • Performance Management: Ensuring tickets are processed by the team within Service Level Agreements (SLA).
  • Troubleshooting: Good base understanding of IT and technical support.
