Aboriginal Engagement Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Aboriginal Engagement Coordinator to lead our Goldfields Aboriginal Engagement Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality engagement services to stakeholders in the region.
The ideal candidate will have strong community connections and an understanding of local cultural protocols, as well as demonstrated experience in Aboriginal community engagement. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to maintain networks and engage key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and lead the activities of the Goldfields Aboriginal engagement team to provide high-quality services to stakeholders in the region.
- Bridge the gap between the team and various parts of the department, enabling Aboriginal communities to have formal channels to have their say and access to DEMIRS officers.
- Develop and implement engagement strategies to ensure consistent work practices and procedures across the region.
- Establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with key stakeholders.
- Build a high-performing engagement team and provide guidance and support to team members.
