Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Return to Work Manager to join our team. As a key member of our claims management team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the best possible recovery and return-to-work outcomes for our clients.
About the Role
The successful candidate will manage high-risk cases, working closely with case managers to develop and implement effective case strategies. You will use your advanced injury management and stakeholder management skills to provide expert advice on return-to-work and injury management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage claims ranging from 30 to 130+ weeks, depending on the specific role.
- Attend claims reviews and clinical case conferences to drive outcomes.
- Develop tailored case management strategies by gathering information from various stakeholders.
- Provide expert advice on return-to-work and injury management.
- Navigate the complexities of workers' compensation legislation.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in claims management, preferably within return-to-work.
- A solid understanding of medical terminology and treatment processes.
- A strong working knowledge of the Accident Compensation Act 1985.
- Exceptional problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $105,000 per annum, based on location and industry standards.
