Fonction clé dans l'investissement en infrastructure
L'analyste principal, expert en infrastructure, contribuera à l'atteinte des objectifs d'affaires de la CDPQ Australie en analysant les propositions d'investissement et en aidant à gérer les actifs de la Caisse en Australie. Le titulaire de ce poste soutiendra également CDPQ Australie dans diverses initiatives de recherche et de stratégie.
Responsabilités clés
- Participer activement à l'analyse des propositions d'investissement;
- Élaborer et examiner des modèles financiers détaillés et mettre en évidence les points clés de la thèse d'investissement, y compris l'exécution d'analyses de sensibilité et l'examen des projections financières et des hypothèses d'évaluation;
- Fournir des conseils sur l'évaluation des investissements potentiels en utilisant la méthodologie appropriée (flux de trésorerie actualisés, multiples, etc.);
- Effectuer une vérification approfondie des possibilités d'investissement;
- Diriger la rédaction des propositions d'investissement pour les nouvelles possibilités d'investissement;
- Aider les principaux collaborateurs à négocier les accords commerciaux et la structure d'actionnariat, et donner des conseils en matière d'investissement;
- Contribuer à l'élaboration des plans d'affaires et stratégiques de CDPQ Australie;
- Effectuer la surveillance proactive des indicateurs financiers et opérationnels, ainsi que des rapports financiers des sociétés en portefeuille;
- Contribuer à la valeur ajoutée du portefeuille en publiant des recommandations sur les tendances clés de l'industrie et les enjeux stratégiques des sociétés pouvant éventuellement faire partie du portefeuille identifiées par CDPQ Australie;
- Préparer des rapports internes et externes sur les sociétés en portefeuille en fonction de l'échéancier établi;
- Effectuer des recherches approfondies sur les tendances et les éléments fondamentaux de l'industrie liés au secteur couvert : suivre de façon proactive les nouvelles du marché et recueillir des informations auprès de sources pertinentes;
- Produire une analyse détaillée des principaux défis du secteur de l'infrastructure et recommander des stratégies à mettre en œuvre;
- Produire des études sectorielles sur les marchés cibles potentiels à développer;
- Développer des outils efficaces pour la recherche et la surveillance des marchés.
Exigences
- Diplôme de deuxième cycle en finances ou autre discipline pertinente;
- Le titre de CFA ou un MBA serait considéré comme un atout;
- Minimum de trois (3) à cinq (5) ans d'expérience en investissement, finances d'entreprise, financement ou services bancaires d'investissement dans les secteurs de l'infrastructure, des placements privés ou du financement de projets;
- Solide expérience en analyse financière et modélisation;
- Connaissance approfondie des outils de la suite MS Office et des marchés financiers (Bloomberg, Capital IQ, etc.);
- Excellente connaissance de l'anglais, à la fois écrit et oral;
- Connaissance du français, un atout.
- Citoyen ou résident permanent de l'Australie, de préférence;
