Project Manager - Disaster Recovery Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to oversee large or complex remediation projects, ensuring safe remediation efforts, and upholding quality standards.

The successful candidate will be responsible for estimating projects, creating scopes of work, and building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.

  • Estimating large or complex remediation projects for losses including water damage, mould, fire, meth-labs, and hydroponic labs.
  • Create detailed scopes of work to guide remediation efforts by technicians, ensuring the safety of occupants and workers.
  • Oversee remediation projects to minimize disruption to customers' lives and ensure efficient completion.
  • Conduct final quality checks on projects to uphold quality standards and ensure properties are returned to normal ecological conditions.
  • Build and maintain relationships with insurance companies and homeowners.

Responsibilities include conducting site assessments, developing project plans, coordinating resources, and managing budgets.

Requirements

Proven experience in project management, preferably in the restoration or construction industry.

  • Strong understanding of remediation processes and regulations related to water damage, mould, fire, and other hazardous materials.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and the ability to effectively lead and motivate project teams.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
