Risk and Compliance Officer Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Risk and Compliance Officer to join our team at CPL. As a Risk and Compliance Officer, you will play a vital role in controlling the quality and risk of our service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the development of risk and compliance procedures, plans, tools, and training materials to maintain effective and consistent application of compliance activities.
  • Assist the Risk and Compliance Advisor to maintain and update compliance information systems.
  • Monitor compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Assist with the development and delivery of compliance training programs.
  • Prepare reports on compliance activities and findings.
  • Maintain accurate records of compliance activities.
Requirements:
  • Experience delivering risk and compliance activities within a community services environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret legislation and industry standards and provide advice to inform organisational compliance with obligations.
  • Understanding of risk and compliance within the disability and aged care sectors, including the mandatory reporting of incidents and other sensitive data to external regulatory bodies.
  • Ability to extract data from systems, undertake trend analysis, and develop reports based on analysis.
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills and ability to liaise with staff and other stakeholders both internally and externally.
  • Highly developed administrative, organisational, and time management skills, including an ability to work to changing priorities and deadlines.
