Supply Chain Optimization Specialist
This role presents an exciting opportunity to lead the distribution plan and supply pipeline for a portfolio of finished goods. Reporting into the Deployment Planning Manager, you will be responsible for owning the distribution plan and ensuring it supports inventory & availability targets.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning the planning books for your portfolio of finished goods
- Producing daily/weekly deployment plans around the national network
- Maintaining DRP pipeline integrity in ECC and APO
- Closing collaboration with Linehaul and DC teams to support Transfer to Plan adherence
- Ensuring SKU levels are being maintained at DRP locations
- Supporting product placement strategy and warehouse capacity
- Providing mitigation plans to manage availability risk
- Liaising with broader teams to minimize cost and drive benefits through improvement projects
Required Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess experience within FMCG or similar fast-paced manufacturing industries. A Graduate in Supply Chain or Logistics discipline is also essential. Additionally, sound stakeholder management and influencing skills are highly desirable.
