About the Opportunity

We are seeking a passionate Senior QA Electrical Engineer to join our Mechanical & Electrical team.

This role will be responsible for assisting in the development, implementation, and auditing to ensure continual improvement of our quality management system for the scope of works.

The responsibilities of this role include but not be limited to:

  • Maintain, monitor compliance and seek improvement of our Project Management System and systems for data, document and record management.
  • Assist the Quality manager with implementation of the Project Quality Management Plan and assist in development of other project management plans.
  • Monitor Nonconformance reporting process for trends and be involved in investigation of significant NCR.
  • Identify, assess and control risks to project quality of product and reject non-conforming materials or products.
  • Ensure appropriate Quality requirements are included in project delivery documentation including subcontractor and supplier packages.
  • Review and close out work lot documentation and ensure compliance to the project specifications and standards.
  • Perform regular process control audits (PCVs) to ensure compliance and suggest improvements to the process.
  • Assist the Quality Manager with development and implementation of project audit schedule and the auditing of subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Assist project personnel with training in the project electronic document management systems, project management system and other applicable quality systems.
  • Provide guidance, support, coaching and/or mentoring on quality related matters/issues to Site and Project engineers, Foremen and workforce.
  • Prepare regular project reports showing progress to achieving project Quality objectives including identification of quality performance trends.
