Job Description\

We are seeking a skilled and energetic individual to join our team as a Yard Person.

\

As a key member of our rental services team, you will be responsible for maintaining the yard, coordinating machine and equipment deliveries, and assisting with the preparation of rental equipment.

\

Your day-to-day tasks will include detailing and preparing equipment for rent, maintaining the yard in a clean and orderly state, completing incoming check lists for machines and attachments, coordinating inwards and outwards goods for service, and carrying out daily security checks on machines in the yard.

\

We are looking for someone who is highly motivated, customer-focused, and able to work well in a team environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications\

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current Forklift Licence
  • Mechanical ability/aptitude (essential to this role)
  • Previous experience with heavy earthmoving equipment
  • Good communication skills (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organisational skills and the capacity to handle several tasks simultaneously
  • A strong commitment to safety, health & environment procedures
