Sports Grounds Field Staff

Gaining experience in turf management, irrigation management, and asset operation offers a unique opportunity to develop new skills or put existing ones to the test. As part of the dynamic Sport and Recreation Team, you will be responsible for managing 280 hectares of irrigated grass, sporting pavilions, and associated assets to ensure they are fit for purpose and ready for Summer and Winter sports.

  1. Turf Management: You will be involved in the daily maintenance and upkeep of the sports grounds, ensuring that the turf is healthy and well-maintained throughout the year.
  2. Irrigation Management: The role requires managing the irrigation system to ensure that the grass receives the right amount of water at the right time.
  3. Asset Operation: You will be responsible for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the sporting pavilions and associated assets.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of turf management principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and team-working skills.
