Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Governance Specialist to join our Remediation Program Governance team.

Main Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to facilitate and support milestone closure and assurance activities on comprehensive programs of work.
  • Assist in managing milestone closure and the assurance schedule, facilitate the development of the Independent Assurer's areas of focus, coordinate with project managers on their collation of milestone closure artefacts, and manage the process to obtain formal approval.
  • Facilitate the quarterly Independent Assurer's review and reporting process, monitor progress of management actions closures, and contribute to monthly reporting to senior stakeholders and governance committees.
Key Requirements
  • At least 3 years' experience in controls assurance or internal audit function in a professional services firm or financial institution.
  • Proficient understanding of internal control frameworks and experience in assessing control design and operating effectiveness, including reviewing and challenging control evidence artefacts.
  • Experience in managing changes/ change control over key project artefacts.
  • Ability to provide guidance and practical recommendations to business stakeholders to improve quality of control evidence artefacts and address control issues or gaps.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint and high attention to detail.
