We are seeking an experienced Security Professional to join our team as a Control Room Operator. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to work in a fast-paced environment, providing excellent customer service and emergency response.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver exceptional security services and maintain high standards of customer care
- Operate and maintain control room systems, including CCTV and access control
- Provide IT computer support and ensure all systems are running smoothly
- Patrol and monitor premises to prevent and detect potential risks
- Respond promptly to emergencies and alarm events, ensuring the safety of people and property
- Maintain accurate records and reports, including incident reports and data logs
In order to succeed in this role, you will need to have:
Essential Skills and Qualifications- A current Security License with Control Room Endorsement
- Valid First Aid & CPR certification
- Proven experience in the security industry, preferably in a control room environment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- The ability to work collaboratively in a team or independently
Please note that flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends, is essential for this role.
Rostered Hours: 12hr rotating shifts - 0600 - 1800 & 1800 to 0600
