Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Service Operations Support team as a Mechanical Service Specialist.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing hands-on mechanical service work to our clients and acting as a technical liaison between the client, product division, and sales personnel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Complete field machine inspections to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Provide technical support and hands-on mechanical service work in the field to our customers.
  • Act as a technical liaison between customers, product divisions, and sales personnel to resolve technical issues and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Perform technical evaluations and analyze equipment and machine component failures to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Supervise and oversee Field Service projects on customer sites to ensure timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Escalate complex technical questions and analysis to Technical Support and Engineering teams for expert guidance.
  • Support quotation work by providing scope of work, initial planning, and costing information to ensure accurate pricing and delivery.
  • Promote products and services to customers through effective communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Prepare post-site reports, timesheets, and expenses after site visits to ensure accurate record-keeping and compliance with company policies.

The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical aptitude, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. A Mechanical trade qualification or equivalent experience and training are required for this role.
