- Strategic Leadership: Guide organisational strategic and operational planning to deliver meaningful outcomes.
- Business Development: Identify and secure funding opportunities through grants, tenders, and partnerships, aligning proposals with regional priorities.
- Program Oversight: Lead multi-stream programs, ensuring effective planning, budgeting, and alignment with organisational goals.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with government, industry, Traditional Owners, and community partners to co-design regional solutions.
- Team Leadership: Mentor a high-performing team, fostering an inclusive culture and supporting professional development.
- Governance and Risk: Ensure compliance, manage risk, and provide strategic input into executive processes.
This is a full-time position based in Mackay or Proserpine, QLD, requiring collaboration with professionals committed to NRM. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work autonomously, and have a deep understanding of the natural resource management space.
