Job Description:

As a key player in our organization, you will be responsible for driving revenue and market share growth by developing and implementing health economic and sustainability initiatives.

  • Design and deliver local health economic evidence including cost-effectiveness and cost-comparison studies to inform business decisions.
  • Create sales support tools such as budget impact models and stakeholder education materials to enhance commercial teams' abilities.
  • Support reimbursement, coding, and funding efforts across Australia and New Zealand to ensure optimal market access.
  • Develop and deliver internal training and support on health economics principles to commercial teams.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers to provide health economic resources and answer questions related to Ambu products.
  • Present economic value to hospital decision-makers and clinical stakeholders to drive business outcomes.

Sustainability Initiatives:

  • Lead the development and implementation of sustainability initiatives across the business to minimize environmental impact.
  • Work with global and local stakeholders to design and execute sustainability strategies and product lifecycle assessments.
  • Conduct analysis and report on environmental metrics and sustainability performance to inform business decisions.
  • Partner with procurement, operations, and sales teams to identify opportunities for sustainable business practices.
  • Develop the sustainability narrative and marketing communications to engage stakeholders.
  • Provide internal and customer-facing sustainability education to promote a culture of sustainability.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Health Economics, Health Policy, Market Access or related field.
  • Minimum 3+ years of work experience in Market Access and Health Economics or related field.
  • Ability to travel both locally and nationally.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with proven ability to work well under pressure.
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to manage projects from design through to implementation.
  • Strong understanding of relevant guidelines and policies.
  • Knowledge of Medicare MBS beneficial.
  • Strong understanding of the medical device market.
  • Proven track record of building professional and strategic relationships.
