About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Trainer to join our team at Ford Motor Company. As a Technical Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training programs to Ford technicians across our dealership network.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs to Ford technicians on vehicle systems, components, and technologies.
  • Conduct hands-on demonstrations and practical exercises to reinforce technician knowledge.
  • Review and update training materials to ensure they are relevant and effective.
  • Supervise the Technical Training Centre and oversee the maintenance of the training facility.
  • Prepare training classrooms and work bays for delivery.
  • Provide in-depth instruction to technicians on Ford vehicle systems, components, and technologies.
  • Ensure training facility, tools, and equipment are maintained and ready for use.
  • Update training attendance and student completion details in the Learning Management System.
  • Support the Technical Training Supervisor and FOA/FNZ SEO Manager to meet training requirements and targets.

Requirements:

  • Training certification and/or previous experience in technical training.
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Above-average proficiency with MS Office products.
  • Proficiency in using automotive diagnostic tools, software, and equipment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Full Australian Driver's License.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ford Master Technician or equivalent Ford technical training experience.
  • Understanding of Ford Dealer Service operations and previous Dealer/field experience.
  • Ability to build relationships with technicians and dealers.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Strong project planning skills.
