The Australian Electoral Commission is seeking a skilled Test and Quality Assurance Specialist to join their team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with a passion for testing and quality assurance to work on a range of ICT projects and programs.

The successful candidate will be responsible for determining and executing testing activities to validate the design and behaviour of systems and services.

They will work closely with project teams, business stakeholders and development teams to ensure that high-quality software solutions are delivered.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop test plans and execute testing activities to validate system and service functionality.
  • Work closely with project teams and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Collaborate with development teams to develop acceptance criteria and test scripts.
  • Undertake functional, integration and regression testing to ensure system reliability and stability.
  • Report and track the resolution of issues as they are found in testing.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience in test processes, including preparation, execution and reporting.
  • Proficiency using tools such as Microsoft Test Manager and Azure DevOps.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High-level analytical and problem-solving skills.
