Swim Instructor Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Casual Swim Instructor at an Aquatic Centre in Bexley.

About the Role:
  • Pursue a career in aquatic education by delivering learn to swim and water safety lessons for various programs, catering to different age groups and abilities.
  • Support the Aquatics team in advising on swimming instruction and safety matters, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Implement programs according to student needs, prioritizing adequate planning and resource availability.
  • Maintain equipment and storage areas, assisting with setup and takedown as required.
  • Prepare regular reports and updates on participants for the supervisor.
About You:
  • Hold a Current Austswim Certificate for Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety or equivalent qualification.
  • Be certified in Infant and Pre-school qualifications or equivalent.
  • Have current CPR/Resuscitation Certification.
  • Obtain a Working with Children Check (NSW).
  • Be available to work during specific hours: Monday-Friday (9am-1pm, 3:30pm-7pm), School Program Period (9am-2:30pm), and Saturdays (8am-4pm).
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills and experience.
