Job Title: Aquatic Educator

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Aquatic Educator to join our team at Angelo Anestis Aquatic Centre. As an Aquatic Educator, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality swimming and water safety education lessons to participants of all ages.

You will work closely with the Aquatic Programs Supervisor to plan and deliver programs that meet the needs of our community. This includes developing and implementing lesson plans, assessing participant progress, and providing feedback and guidance to ensure a positive learning experience.

In addition to your teaching responsibilities, you will also support the Aquatic Programs team in various tasks such as maintaining equipment, preparing reports, and assisting with event coordination.

As an ideal candidate, you possess excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively with people of all ages and backgrounds. You are passionate about aquatic education and have a strong commitment to delivering exceptional service to our customers.

Requirements:
  • Austswim Certificate for Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety or equivalent qualification
  • AUSTSWIM Infant and Pre-school qualification or equivalent certification
  • Current CPR/Resuscitation Certificate
  • Current Working with Children Check (NSW)

Working Conditions:

This is a casual position working at Angelo Anestis Aquatic Centre. The successful applicant will be required to work a variety of shifts, including weekdays, weekends, and school holidays. You must be able to commit to a minimum of 10 hours per week.
