Key Responsibilities:

  • Mechanical, Hydraulic, and Electrical Diagnosis: Conduct thorough inspections and diagnose issues with our equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Major and Minor Services: Perform routine maintenance and repairs to extend the lifespan of our equipment.
  • Maintenance and Component Replacements: Replace worn-out parts and maintain equipment to prevent downtime.
  • Fabrication and New Machine Build: Construct and assemble new equipment as required.
  • Complete Service Reports: Document all maintenance and repair activities to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with our customers to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Dealing with Key Customers: Interact directly with our valued customers to understand their needs and provide exceptional service.

About You:

  • Trade Qualification: Hold a trade qualification as a Diesel/Mobile Plant Mechanic.
  • Flexibility and Travel: Be willing to travel to customer sites and work overtime as required.
  • Fault Finding Ability: Possess the ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues with our equipment.
  • Current Driver's License: Hold a current driver's license.
  • Additional Certifications: Possess certifications in Forklift, W, T, R, and Air Conditioning, which are advantageous.
  • Basic Computer Skills: Have basic knowledge of Word and Excel.
  • Safety Commitment: Demonstrate a commitment to maintaining and adhering to safety guidelines in the workplace.
