Job Description

Provide technical support to in-service projects during online and offline activities. Develop and implement technical solutions to engineering challenges to maximise uptime of naval and government marine assets.

This includes developing maintenance repair plans, technical instructions, risk assessments, and resolving problems.

Provision of engineering advice and development of technical instructions are also key responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop engineering deliverables including maintenance repair plans, technical instructions, risk assessments, and problem resolution requests.
  • Provision of engineering advice and development of technical instructions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Formal degree qualification in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Australian citizenship and eligibility for security clearance.
  • Well-developed communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office and standard engineering software.
  • Experience in a defence environment and asset management/maintenance.
  • Understanding of technical risk management and safety systems.
  • Computer-aided drafting experience/knowledge.
  • Familiarity with systems engineering processes and the N4 Library.
