We are seeking an experienced professional to oversee the day-to-day operations of our apiaries in New South Wales. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining bee colonies, ensuring optimal health and productivity.

About the Role:

This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the success of our apiary operations. As Apiary Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing the management and maintenance of bee colonies, including honey production, hive inspections, and health checks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain bee colonies, ensuring optimal health and productivity.
  • Oversee honey production, extraction, and packaging processes.
  • Conduct regular hive inspections and health checks to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Supervise and manage apiary staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Monitor and analyze hive health and production data to inform decision-making.
Requirements:
  • Relevant experience in beekeeping, bee colony management, and hive maintenance.
  • Knowledge of honey production and extraction processes.
  • Experience in managing and supervising staff.
  • Understanding of industry standards and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Environmental Science, or related field (preferred).
