Apiary Manager Job Description

As an Apiary Manager, you will play a vital role in maintaining and monitoring hives to achieve high standards. This position is responsible for instituting beekeeping activities through the 12-month season, focusing on honey production, pollination services, and queen rearing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing and maintaining beehives to ensure optimal health and productivity
  • Implementing beekeeping activities throughout the year, including honey production, pollination services, and queen rearing
  • Monitoring hive conditions and taking corrective action as needed
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in apiary management or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of bee behavior and biology
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
