Job Summary:

The Parts Interpreter is responsible for connecting customers and service technicians with the right parts at our Forbes Branch.

This role requires a high level of initiative, organisation and time management skills, basic knowledge of data entry and machinery, ability to work both independently and in a team, and ability to follow safe work environment procedures and operations. A forklift license is preferred but not necessary as we can help you obtain it.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Identifying customer needs and promoting products/services
  • Supplying Service Technicians with required parts
  • Interpreting parts requirements
  • Placing machine down and stock orders
  • Verifying receipting-in of shipments and assisting with delivery to proper inventory locations
  • Assisting with preparing and maintaining merchandise displays
  • Keeping the parts department clean and orderly
  • FOLLOWING UP ON BACK ORDERS AND SHORTAGES, ADVANCING ISSUES BY REPORTING TO THE MANAGER
  • Maintaining current product knowledge
  • Participating in Sales Training programs
