Student Employability Officer

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Student Employability Officer, where you will play a key role in supporting students to achieve their career goals.



About the Role

As a Student Employability Officer, you will be responsible for providing career and employability advice and support to students, academic and professional staff. You will work closely with stakeholders to develop and implement initiatives that enhance student employability and career readiness.



Key Responsibilities


  • Provide career and employability advice and support to students, academic and professional staff;
  • Develop and implement initiatives that enhance student employability and career readiness;
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address student needs and barriers to employment;
  • Design and deliver programs to support student career development and employability;
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of employability initiatives and programs.


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:




  • Experience in student and education career and employability related practices and processes;
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop productive relationships with colleagues and students;
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
