The Role

We are seeking an experienced teacher to join our team as a Careers Education Teacher. The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating a safe and supportive learning environment, applying pedagogical practices in the area of Careers Education to motivate and engage students, and differentiating instruction to challenge and extend students of diverse abilities.

The ideal candidate will have excellent literacy skills, particularly in written communication, and highly developed organisational skills. They will also be committed to ongoing professional learning and be able to work collaboratively with colleagues as a member of a team.

About the Job
  • Develop and implement curriculum programs in Careers Education that cater to the diverse needs of students
  • Provide guidance and support to students in career planning and development
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement strategies to improve student outcomes
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of school policies and procedures related to Careers Education
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary package, including an estimated annual salary of $104,047, plus superannuation. In addition, we provide extensive training opportunities, access to curriculum resources, and a positive and collaborative workplace culture.

Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor of Teaching or Master of Teaching
  • Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) and/or Working with Children Check (WWCC) registration
  • Teaching Quality Institute (TQI) and/or NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) registration
