Massage Therapist

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Massage Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our spa, you will be responsible for providing exceptional massage services to our guests in a luxurious and tranquil environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide consultation and skin analysis prior to treatments to ensure the best possible outcomes for our guests.
  • Offer body and facial waxing/tinting services, facial treatments, manicures and pedicures, and spa rituals to enhance our guests' experiences.
  • Suggest treatment plans for future re-bookings to encourage repeat business and build long-term relationships with our guests.
  • Provide massage services using props and/or products to cater to different preferences and needs.
  • Deliver body treatments using body scrubs, wraps, and/or hydrotherapy to promote relaxation and rejuvenation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation and treatment room throughout each shift, disposing of trash and dirty linens and securing supplies and equipment at the end of each shift.
  • Assess guest needs and inquire about contraindications (e.g., allergies, high blood pressure, and pregnancy) before beginning service to ensure their safety and well-being.
Requirements
  • Recent experience as a Massage Therapist is essential for this role.
  • Proven skills and confidence in spa treatments such as facials, massage, and body treatments are required.
  • Previous experience in a 5-star hotel property is highly regarded.
  • A Diploma in Beauty Therapy or Certificate IV in Massage is necessary for this position.
  • Excellent personal presentation standards and strong communication skills are essential for interacting with guests and colleagues.
  • The ability to anticipate guests' needs and build genuine connections with them is crucial for success in this role.
  • Reception experience in a similar environment is highly advantageous but not essential.
