**_ Long term role - immediate start_**
Based in Brisbane, you will be part of dynamic, innovative and collaborative team renowned for its world-class thinking and solutions. As the Signalling/Electrical Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of electrical specialists for the ETCS L2 project. You will work closely with the construction manager to interpret and maintain the project construction schedule.
The key accountabilities of the role include but are not limited to:
- Responsible for planning, overseeing and leading construction activities by interpreting signalling documentation and functional construction documentation and supervision of 'set to work' activities as required
- Manage the Electrical team and subcontractors to deliver the ETCS L2 project plan.
- Co-ordinate all site activities for all electrical works, in accordance with the project delivery plan.
- Optimise project resources (internal or external, including subcontractors) to achieve project deliverables and milestones, in line with the project deliverables.
- Collaborate with the Heath Safety & Environment (HSE) team to define HSE requirements for site in accordance with the HSE Management Plan for the project.
- Implementation of the HSE initiatives on site in adherence with relevant legislation, standards and guidelines.
- Develop and share with the Senior Construction Manager the evaluation of resource performance.
- Co-operate with Procurement to secure all materials required to execute work.
- Provide regular reports of construction activities progress.
**_ EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE_**
- Trade qualification in signalling and/or electrical.
- 5+ years in Railway signalling
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
- Cert IV in Electrical or Signalling
- Demonstrated competency in implementing Health & Safety inititives.
- Outstanding planning and organisational skills.
- Demonstrated experience working within a brownfield railway signalling environment.
- Knowledge of software tools and technical systems.
