Job Opportunity: Signal Engineer Leader

We are seeking skilled professionals to lead the development of innovative signalling engineering solutions. This role involves guiding activities, shaping project scopes and ensuring engineering outcomes meet operational and safety needs.

This is a permanent full-time position responsible for technical oversight and certification of signalling designs and works. We need candidates with deep knowledge of railway signalling systems and lifecycle delivery, including their application across planning, design, construction and commissioning stages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of signalling engineering solutions aligned with our strategic objectives.
  • Guide activities and shape project scopes to ensure engineering outcomes meet operational and safety needs.
  • Provide technical oversight and certification of signalling designs and works.
  • Drive the successful delivery of signalling projects across all lifecycle phases.
  • Collaborate with engineering disciplines, project teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment between signalling systems and broader rail infrastructure goals.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic or related discipline).
  • Registered Professional Engineer.

We require established expertise in signalling system architecture and performance, strong diagnostic, analytical and problem-solving skills, and curiosity and initiative to explore reliability improvements and system risk mitigation.
