Electrical Signal Technician Position

The Regional Assets business at Queensland Rail seeks an experienced Electrical Signal Technician to join its Wayside Systems team. This role is critical in ensuring the safety, reliability, and efficiency of Queensland's rail network.

About the Job
  • Responsible for installing and repairing signalling equipment to maintain a safe and reliable rail network.
  • Analyse and repair signalling failures to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to asset renewal programs and costing systems.
  • Report on actual work performed against scheduled work programs and identify any equipment performance or condition irregularities.
Key Requirements
  • Certificate IV Railway Signalling qualification.
  • Current 'C' Class Drivers Licence.
  • Current Queensland Electrical Mechanic Licence or interstate equivalent.
  • Ability to travel and work throughout regional Queensland.
