Customer Engagement and Marketing Strategist

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Customer Engagement and Marketing Strategist to join our team on a 6-month contract.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute customer engagement strategies across multiple channels in support of key retail life insurance initiatives
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Product, Compliance, CX, Operations, and Distribution teams to ensure accurate, timely and customer-focused messaging
  • Manage customer engagement delivery timelines, approvals and reporting to ensure high-quality execution and compliance with brand and regulatory requirements
  • Review and audit existing customer communication journeys to identify opportunities and implement solutions that improve clarity, engagement and customer experience
  • Apply customer insights and data to develop engaging communications that drive understanding and improve customer experience
  • Work with creative and digital partners to develop innovative communications and content assets
  • Identify customer engagement risks and opportunities, and proactively recommend solutions to enhance customer outcomes
Requirements:
  • Experience in a Customer Marketing or Communications Manager role preferably within the life insurance industry
  • Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills – confident in engaging, influencing and aligning diverse stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and deliver to tight deadlines
  • Strong strategic judgement and ability to translate complex information into clear, customer-friendly messaging
  • Commercial acumen and a pragmatic, solutions-oriented mindset
