Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to fill the Grounds Attendant position at Sydney Lakeside Holiday Park. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the park's grounds, gardens, and amenities.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain the overall appearance of the park by performing tasks such as lawn mowing, gardening, and cleaning of facilities.
  • Clean and maintain BBQ facilities.
  • Participate in park maintenance and rubbish removal activities.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to guests.
  • Be available to work over a 7-day week roster, including weekends and public holidays.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Hold First Aid Level 2 certification or be willing to obtain it.
  • Have current CPR certification or be willing to obtain it.
  • Obtain National Police Check clearance upon onboarding.
  • Hold Working with Children's Check or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in a similar role is highly regarded.
  • Ability to operate and maintain equipment such as lawn mowers, edgers, sweepers, whipper snippers, hedge trimmers, sprayers, and basic hand tools.
  • Well-developed communication and organizational skills.
  • Able to interact professionally with management.
  • Able to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Able to work with minimal supervision.
