About the Opportunity

We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team at WorkFocus Australia, where you will play a vital role in helping individuals achieve their wellness and recovery goals.

As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for undertaking assessments, developing rehabilitation plans, and implementing interventions to improve functional performance, independence, and work capacity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments, including activities of daily living, home, worksite, functional, ergonomic, and equipment assessments.
  • Develop and implement effective rehabilitation plans tailored to each client's needs.
  • Design and implement intervention programs using occupation to enhance functional performance, independence, and work capacity.
  • Identify barriers and design, implement, and monitor programs that support clients in achieving maximal work participation.
  • Collaborate with clients, family members, funding bodies, medical practitioners, employers, and stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.
Requirements
  • Australian recognized degree qualification in Occupational Therapy and AHPRA accreditation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage clients and stakeholders in the wellness and work journey.
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality customer service and supporting clients in achieving their goals.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on collaboration and mutual respect.
  • A willingness to learn and adapt to new situations, with a growth mindset.
