About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in Darwin. As an Occupational Therapist - Workplace Injury Prevention Specialist, you will play a critical role in delivering workplace injury prevention and rehabilitation solutions that enable individuals and organisations to achieve their potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilise your specialist knowledge and skills to assist people to return to meaningful engagement in occupations.
- Evaluate the treatment and/or rehabilitation needs of workers who have been involved in a work-related or non-work-related injury or illness.
- Help clients identify future employment or training options by reviewing their transferable skills, qualifications and interests.
- Perform a variety of assessments depending on your area of clinical expertise, including functional capacity evaluations, worksite, ergonomic or activities of daily living assessments.
- Responsible for effective case management to plan, coordinate and monitor your client's progress toward their return to work goal.
- Engage with key stakeholders and build strong relationships to facilitate the achievement of business objectives.
