About the Role
McConnell Dowell, a renowned construction company, is seeking an experienced Safety and Wellbeing Specialist - Project Delivery to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in health and safety, with a proven track record of driving impactful wellbeing initiatives that support strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities
As a Safety and Wellbeing Specialist, you will be responsible for providing site health and safety leadership during construction projects, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Key tasks include:
  • Providing guidance and support to stakeholders on health and safety matters
  • Reporting on health and safety performance to internal and external stakeholders
  • Leading audits and investigations to identify areas for improvement
  • Developing Return to Work plans and managing RTW cases
  • Reviewing site risk registers and facilitating Construction Risk Assessment Workshops

About You
The successful candidate will possess relevant tertiary qualifications in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) and a minimum of 8 years of experience in a dedicated safety role, preferably within the construction industry. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for this position.

Salary Range
A competitive salary range of AU$120,000 - AU$150,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, is available for this exciting opportunity.
