Warehouse Inventory Manager Role

This role entails overseeing the Inbound Team at the Customer Fulfilment Centre, ensuring stock flows in safely and efficiently to meet customer demand.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and coach the Inbound Team to achieve operational targets and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Manage rosters, approve timesheets, and conduct performance discussions for team leaders.
  • Run weekly and monthly leadership meetings and communicate outcomes to the team.
  • Oversee daily stock receiving, storage, and inventory accuracy.
  • Plan and execute stock picking for store launches and daily replenishment to ensure timely supply.
  • Manage transport operations to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and on-time deliveries.
  • Develop strong relationships with suppliers and contractors to drive compliance and performance.
  • Procure consumables for the inbound area and implement efficient procurement processes.
  • Drive a strong safety culture by reporting and addressing hazards, near misses, and incidents.
  • Identify opportunities for efficiency and implement process improvements.

The ideal candidate is a proactive, organised leader who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment. They should possess excellent communication skills and be able to motivate their team to deliver results.

The successful candidate will have:

  • 2+ years' leadership experience in a large warehousing environment
  • Proven people management skills, including coaching and performance management
  • Experience in supplier management and negotiation
  • Strong understanding of workplace health and safety requirements
  • Ability to use inventory and order management systems as well as business analytics tools
  • A collaborative approach and the ability to build relationships across all levels
