We are seeking an experienced Senior Category Manager to drive strategic direction and operational excellence of our vendor management and procurement activities.

As a Senior Category Manager, you will play a vital role in leading commercial negotiations with vendors to ensure optimum outcomes while maintaining the highest professional and ethical standards. You will be responsible for managing the portfolio of IT categories and vendors, working closely with business owners to deliver optimal value to TPG Telecom.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the vendor lifecycle, partnering arrangements, and procurement policies and procedures. They will possess excellent commercial acumen, analytical skills, and the ability to engage and work with key business stakeholders.

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, flexible hybrid working arrangements, and access to corporate partner discounts.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead and optimize procurement processes to ensure alignment with business objectives and deliver measurable outcomes
  • Establish strong relationships with business stakeholders to understand current vendor performance and future requirements
  • Manage the resolution of escalations to ensure TPG outcomes are preserved
  • Develop category strategies that support the delivery of TPG business strategies

You will bring:

  • A commercial degree or equivalent desirable
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate and manage complex supplier contracts
  • Experience managing RFx processes and vendor relationship management
  • Solutions-focused approach with strong commercial acumen and analytical skills
