**What you will achieve?**

We provide a comprehensive suite of Securities Services across multiple markets. Our solutions include custody, clearing, asset servicing, fund administration, ETF services, middle office, agency securities lending, collateral management, transfer agency, and fiduciary services.

We're seeking a skilled professional to join our team as **Corporate Actions Specialist** based in **Melbourne, Australia**. As part of our team, you'll have access to various perks and benefits.

**Key responsibilities:**

- Process and reconcile Corporate Action events
- Update communications, notifications, and postings for Corporate Actions or Proxy events
- Support a range of products and services under established systems and procedures
- Perform routine operational tasks focused on administering defined procedures, analysis, and report preparation, and resolving problems that require investigation or research
- Handle multiple transactions of moderate complexity
- Analyze data and contribute to recommendations for process improvement, and/or the launch of new products and services
- Minimize risk through procedural knowledge and monitoring errors to suggest solutions to reduce errors, and adhere to audit and control policies
- Identify policy gaps and suggest improvements to related work processes
- Timely escalation of requests, inquiries, issues, and errors
- Develop a good understanding of products and processes, industry practices, and standards
- Utilize communication and interpersonal skills to interact with colleagues and stakeholders
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
- 2+ years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of corporate actions, equity securities, fixed income, and asset-backed securities
- Custody or broking background
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Access is desired)
- Excellent communication skills
- Motivated, driven, and a team player
- Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience
