The Sales Engineering organization is seeking a highly skilled professional to join our training program. The purpose of this program is to develop aspiring technical talent through comprehensive education and mentorship.

This six-month program offers in-depth technical and sales skills training through classroom sessions, shadowing, and mentoring from experienced sales and pre-sales leaders and peers. You will learn cutting-edge technologies, customer needs, and business challenges, and develop the skills to address them effectively. You will apply your technical aptitude, exceptional communication, and creative problem-solving skills daily. Upon completion, you will join our regional Sales Engineering organization and contribute to the team's success.

After successful training, you will:

  • Present innovative solutions and showcase technical expertise to executives and technical contributors at prospects and customers

  • Apply knowledge of a domain or industry to align customer needs with technical solutions

  • Work collaboratively with SEs, prospects, and customers to demonstrate and communicate technical solutions throughout the sales cycle

  • Maintain a deep understanding of competitive and complementary technologies and position Snowflake as a leader in the market

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve products and marketing initiatives

  • Provide ongoing technical guidance to customers to drive digital transformation success

  • Contribute to global and regional Sales Engineering initiatives

On day one we expect you to have:

  • A passion for translating customer needs into technical solutions

  • A willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to present technical topics to various audiences via presentations

  • A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related fields, or equivalent experience

  • Industry or internship experience in data analytics, pre-sales, solution architecture, or data engineering

  • Hands-on experience with SQL, Python, Scala, Spark, Java, cloud technology, data platform, or data analytics

  • A strong desire to pursue a career in Sales Engineering
