Job Description

This role involves supporting the Centre Director in the leadership of the team, mentoring and building capabilities within the centre team, and being responsible for the overall management of the centre in the Centre Director's absence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Centre Director in the leadership of the team
  • Mentor and build capabilities within the centre team
  • Be responsible for the overall management of the centre in the Centre Director's absence
  • Use and implement the Goodstart Practice Guide

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Diploma or bachelor's degree in early childhood education
  • A current Working with Children Check, or be willing to obtain one
  • Experience with leading and managing change within education, health or community services
  • Experience in delivering integrated early childhood services in areas of disadvantage
  • Proven commercial acumen with financial and operational performance management
